Single-day reserved tickets are now on sale for the 2012 Grand Prix of Baltimore, which will rumble through the streets of downtown Baltimore's Inner Harbor on Labor Day weekend, August 31 - September 2, 2012.

Adult reserved seating for Saturday, Sept.1, begins at $85 and Sunday, Sept. 2, reserved tickets begins at $95. The Grand Prix of Baltimore features a number of auto racing categories, with Saturday's schedule headlined by the stars and cars of the American Le Mans Series and Sunday's roster featuring the stars of the Indy 500 and the IZOD IndyCar Series.

The single-day ticket availability was announced Monday, July 16, at a news conference in downtown Baltimore featuring two of America's finest racers: Ryan Hunter-Reay of Andretti Autosport, winner of three consecutive IZOD IndyCar Series races and championship point leader, and Tommy Milner of Team Corvette, who currently leads the GT championship category in the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patron.

Tickets can be purchased and race information can be found at the official event website: RaceOnBaltimore.com or through all Ticketmaster outlets. Tickets orders can also be placed by phone at 800-745-3000. Fans can also buy three-day ticket packages, general admission tickets and paddock passes that allow up-close access to see the IndyCar teams at work inside the Baltimore Convention Center. The 2012 Grand Prix of Baltimore is being operated by locally owned Race On LLC, and is being promoted by Andretti Sports Marketing.

BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport Begins Terminal Enhancement Program

Construction started in June 2012 on a major terminal enhancement program at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport. The work will improve and modernize the BWI Marshall passenger terminal facility and provide new services for Airport travelers.
The BWI Marshall Observation Gallery will be closed until spring 2013 to accommodate the construction program.
Completion of the improvements is expected in the summer of 2013.

United Airlines and Continental Airlines Transition to Single Passenger Service System

United Airlines and Continental Airlines are completing the transition to a single passenger service system. All Continental Airlines customers should now check-in at the United Airlines ticket counter near Concourse D.

Delta Air Lines shifted operations to Concourse D on December 13

Starting December 13, all Delta flights operate from gates on Concourse D. Ticketing and baggage check-in for Delta flights occur in the ticket lobby near Concourse D. Arriving baggage for Delta customers utilizes baggage carousel number 14, located on the lower level of the Airport.

AirTran Airways Shifted Operations to Terminal A/B

AirTran Airways shifted operations to Terminal A/B on November 16. All AirTran passenger activities, including ticketing and baggage services occur in Terminal A/B. AirTran flights operate from Concourse B. Baggage claim for AirTran moved to claim carousel number 6, adjacent to Concourse B.

In order to manage vehicle traffic on the terminal roadway, BWI Marshall Airport has created specific pick-up zones for hotel shuttles and off-airport parking shuttles. Effective October 31, hotel and off-airport parking shuttles will pick-up passengers at the designated zones only. Private vehicles are restricted from these off-airport pick-up zones.
Zones 1 and 3 are assigned for hotel shuttles. Zone 2 is designated for off-airport parking shuttles. Zone 4 will be used by both hotels and off-airport parking companies.
